On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of 22 or more total games. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time estimate of the likelihood of that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants, and changes as new information becomes available or sentiment shifts. Traders aim to profit by accurately predicting the outcome and capitalizing on price discrepancies.
This market resolves around Sep 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final game count from the Svitolina vs Joint match will be used to determine whether 22 or more games were played. The resolution will be based on official match statistics, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the result. Traders will then be paid out based on their positions in the market, reflecting the accuracy of their predictions.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before the match concludes. Any news regarding player fitness, such as an injury to either Svitolina or Joint, would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, if the match is played outdoors, could also impact expectations. Additionally, early performance in the match itself, such as a dominant start by one player, could lead to shifts in the market as traders adjust their predictions based on the unfolding events. Public sentiment and expert analysis could also play a role.
