Opinion
In the upcoming WTA singles match scheduled for 2026-06-30 10:00 UTC: if Elina Svitolina wins the match, this market resolves to "Elina Svitolina"; if Daria Snigur wins, it resolves to "Daria Snigur". The winner is the first player to claim the required number of sets under the match's official best-of format. If the match begins but is not completed, a retirement or default counts the opposing player as the winner. If a walkover is declared before the first point is played, the match is outright canceled, or it is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. Suspensions caused by weather, fading light, or other tournament-imposed delays do not close this market — it stays open until the match is officially completed, provided it concludes within the 7-day window mentioned above. Resolution Source: The official WTA Tour scoring page. Note: This market will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their books and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market's odds represent crowdsourced expectations from participants who profit by predicting accurately, which can sometimes offer a different perspective than conventional betting lines on the same matchup.
On Opinion, traders buy and sell shares that represent different outcomes, with the share price reflecting the probability assigned by the market. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe in a particular result, the higher that outcome's price rises. Your position's value fluctuates with real-time trading, and you can exit at any time by selling your shares at the current market price, allowing you to lock in gains or cut losses before the match concludes.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, after the match between these two players concludes. The outcome will be confirmed once the result is verifiable from credible public sources covering professional tennis. Your position settles based on the verified match result, and any open positions are automatically closed at that time.
Several factors may shift the odds before Jun 30, 2026. Recent player performance, injury reports, head-to-head records, and surface conditions can all influence trader sentiment. Tournament seeding, draw position, and momentum from earlier rounds also matter. Media coverage of either player's form, coaching changes, or psychological factors may prompt traders to adjust their positions. Closer to the match date, warm-up tournament results and official confirmation of player participation typically drive the most significant price movements.
