This market predicts the exact final set score of the professional tennis match between Elias Ymer and Timofey Skatov at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Qualification Final on June 24. Possible outcomes include 2-0 victories for either player or a 2-1 victory for either player.
The market resolves to Yes for the specific set score outcome that occurs in the Elias Ymer vs Timofey Skatov professional tennis match in the 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Qualification Final. Possible outcomes are Elias Ymer 2-0, Elias Ymer 2-1, Timofey Skatov 2-1, or Timofey Skatov 2-0. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market aggregates the collective forecast of traders who have financial skin in the game, which can sometimes offer a more efficient signal than traditional sportsbook pricing. Both sources provide useful reference points, but they answer slightly different questions about likelihood.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each possible exact score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome contract reflects the marginal probability traders assign to it, with the sum of all outcome prices equaling one dollar. As new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, bids and asks adjust, moving the market price. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new developments leading up to the match.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, once the Ymer vs Skatov match concludes and the final score is verified. The outcome is determined by the exact set score recorded at the end of play, confirmed against credible public sources covering professional tennis. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout once the result is official and the market settles. Until that point, prices will fluctuate based on pre-match analysis, player form, and any breaking news.
Several factors could shift this market significantly before resolution. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and court surface preference may influence trader positioning. Injury reports or changes to player fitness could trigger sharp repricing. Weather conditions on match day and draw-related details may also matter. Betting activity from professional syndicates or sharp money often moves prediction markets ahead of major sportsbooks, so watch for sudden volume spikes or directional shifts. Pre-match commentary and expert analysis can also sway sentiment among retail traders.
