Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the market resolves based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, with the same three mutually exclusive outcomes (El Gouna win, Ismaily win, or draw) and consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) at efa.com.eg, or consensus of credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the outcome of the El Gouna SC vs. Ismaily SC match scheduled for April 19, 2026, after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Exactly one of three outcomes will occur: El Gouna SC wins, Ismaily SC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, El Gouna win and Ismaily win markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is played and completed.
Cancellation with No Make-up: If the match is canceled entirely with no rescheduled make-up game, the El Gouna win and Ismaily win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Fallback: If the EFA does not publish official statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion, resolution uses consensus of credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by the EFA or credible reporting consensus, within 2 hours of match conclusion.
