This market tracks the outcome of the second set in the professional tennis match between Ekaterina Alexandrova and Anastasia Potapova at the 2026 Berlin tournament Round of 32 on June 15. The winner of set 2 determines the market resolution.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 of the Ekaterina Alexandrova vs Anastasia Potapova professional tennis match in the 2026 Berlin Round of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they aggregate real-time trader conviction rather than following fixed oddsmaking models. On this market, participants continuously update prices based on player form, court conditions, and match momentum. Sportsbooks may lag behind or apply wider margins, whereas prediction markets typically reflect sharper, more dynamic pricing. Comparing the two can reveal where public sentiment on the set winner differs from professional bookmakers' assessments.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate of all active traders. As new information surfaces—such as player injuries, recent performance, or in-match developments—traders adjust their bids and offers, causing the price to move. This continuous price discovery process ensures the odds stay current and competitive throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, once the second set of the Alexandrova vs Potapova match concludes. The outcome is determined by verified reporting of the final set result from credible public sources covering professional tennis. Your position settles based on which player is confirmed as the set winner. Until that point, you can trade your shares freely to lock in gains or cut losses as odds shift.
Several factors can shift odds on this market before resolution. Player injury reports or withdrawal announcements would trigger sharp repricing. First-set results carry significant weight, as they reveal court conditions, momentum, and tactical adjustments. Real-time match commentary and momentum swings during play drive intraday volatility. Recent head-to-head records, surface preference, and weather conditions also influence trader positioning. Any unexpected lineup changes or player statements about form or strategy could prompt rapid price adjustments as traders reassess the probability of each outcome.
