Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 11, 2026, using the same primary source (CBF/governing body statistics) and treating cancellation without a makeup game identically.
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) or the governing body/event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Exactly three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: EC Vitória wins, São Paulo FC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Each outcome resolves exactly one market to YES across the group (Vitória win market, São Paulo win market, or draw market).
Resolution is based on the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only; extra time and penalties are excluded.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the match is actually played on a future date.
Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary source is official CBF statistics; if not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus is used instead.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the final match result by CBF or governing body, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
