On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time odds for each exact-score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices move continuously as new trades arrive, with larger orders moving the line more sharply. The top outcome currently reflects the highest implied probability among all possible final scores. Traders profit by correctly predicting the scoreline, and the market's pricing mechanism ensures that the sum of all outcome probabilities equals 100 percent, creating a zero-sum environment where accuracy is directly rewarded.
This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at full-time, with no extra time or penalty shootout outcomes factored in. Traders holding positions on the correct exact score receive their payout automatically, while incorrect positions expire worthless. The resolution process is typically completed within hours of the final whistle, allowing quick settlement and enabling traders to redeploy capital to subsequent events.
Team news such as injuries to key players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes can shift odds significantly in the days before kickoff. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions at the venue also influence trader positioning. As match time approaches, late-breaking developments—such as a surprise starting XI or last-minute roster updates—often trigger sharp repricing. During the match itself, early goals, red cards, or momentum swings will cause rapid adjustments to remaining exact-score probabilities. Volume typically spikes in the final hour before kickoff as traders finalize their positions.
