In the upcoming National League game between Eastleigh FC and Carlisle United FC, scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Eastleigh FC vs. Carlisle United FC match originally scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly reflects the market’s probability assessment of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly, providing a real-time indication of collective belief. The market is entirely driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price and increasing its implied probability.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Eastleigh vs. Carlisle match – the exact score – will be used to determine which shares pay out. Resolution will occur after the match concludes and the official score is publicly available. The outcome is determined by the actual result of the game, not by any subjective assessment or pre-defined criteria beyond the final scoreline.
Several factors could influence this market before Sep 19, 2026. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day might also play a role, potentially favoring one team over another. Furthermore, significant shifts in public opinion, perhaps driven by expert analysis or media coverage, could impact trading activity and move the odds. A late surge in support for a particular team, or even rumors of internal team issues, could all contribute to price fluctuations in this market.
