This market tracks which team will score more points in a specific quarter of a college football game between Eastern Michigan and Wisconsin. It focuses solely on performance during the third quarter, ignoring the overall game result. The outcome depends entirely on the points scored by each team in that quarter.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of individual traders. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts, especially when there's significant public interest. However, sportsbook odds are readily available and provide a useful benchmark for comparison. Discrepancies between the two can present potential arbitrage opportunities for informed traders, though these are often short-lived.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome of the 3rd quarter. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively translating into a probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy contracts for a particular team, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived chance of victory. Conversely, selling contracts lowers the price, suggesting a lower probability. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to aggregate information and reflect the collective intelligence of its participants.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The team leading at the end of the 3rd quarter of the Eastern Michigan vs Wisconsin game will be declared the winner for the purpose of this market. Resolution will be based on official game statistics and results as reported by a trusted sports data provider.
