This set of markets tracks the point differential in a college football game, offering various thresholds for how much Jacksonville St. must win by for each market to settle positively. Each threshold represents a different level of victory margin for Jacksonville St.
All markets resolve based on the official point differential from the Eastern Kentucky vs Jacksonville St. college football game scheduled for Sep 5, 2026. For markets where Jacksonville St. must win by a specified margin, the market resolves to Yes only if Jacksonville St. exceeds that margin. One market resolves to Yes if Eastern Kentucky wins by more than 1.5 points. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, all markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds in this market often reflect a different outlook than traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks incorporate sharp lines and adjustments, prediction markets capture crowd-sourced sentiment and can shift quickly based on new information or trading activity. Traders watch both, but the dynamics and implied probabilities can vary significantly.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders set the price through continuous trading, with the current top outcome reflecting the majority expectation. The market uses a logarithmic market design to balance liquidity and accurate price discovery, allowing participants to bet on different point spread outcomes based on their analysis of team performance and game conditions.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point spread recorded at the end of the game will determine which side of the market is settled, based on official score reports from trusted sports authorities.
Injuries to key players, changes in coaching strategy, weather conditions on game day, and shifting team rankings can all impact this market. Traders will also react to any major performance updates or news releases as the game approaches, potentially causing rapid shifts in odds depending on how new information affects perceived team strengths.
