Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, aiming to balance action on both sides. This market, however, allows traders to adjust the price based on new information or differing opinions. As more people trade, the price tends to converge towards what the collective believes is the true probability of each outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast event outcomes than traditional methods.
