Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market’s odds are driven purely by supply and demand. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Analyzing these differences can provide valuable insights into public perception and potential value bets, though it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees.
