This market determines which driver achieves the greatest improvement in position from their starting grid spot to their final race result at a specific event. It focuses on measuring performance gains over the course of the race, highlighting drivers who manage significant climbs up the leaderboard.
Each market assesses whether a specified driver achieves the largest positive differential between their starting grid position and finishing position in the main race. To qualify, a driver must have both an official starting grid position and an official classified finishing position. If a driver fails to qualify, participates but does not finish without a classified position, is disqualified, or does not start (DNS), the market resolves as 'No'. Drivers who start from the pit lane have their starting position defined as one place behind the last regularly gridded driver unless a specific numeric position is officially published. If the race is postponed within 48 hours of its original schedule, the market remains open and resolves based on the rescheduled race. If the race is canceled outright or rescheduled more than 48 hours from the original time, all contracts settle at a fair price. In the event of a tie for the largest position differential among multiple drivers, 'Yes' positions pay $1 divided by the number of tied drivers (rounded down to the nearest cent), while 'No' positions pay one minus the 'Yes' payout. Official ties in grid or finish positions retain the tied position number for affected drivers, with the next position skipping ahead accordingly.
This market resolves around Aug 23, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The biggest mover is determined by comparing each driver’s starting grid position to their final classified position, with the largest positive difference deciding the result. Traders can watch for official race results and post-event analyses to confirm the settlement.
Key signals include practice session times, qualifying performance, grid penalties, weather forecasts, and mid-race strategy calls — all of which can dramatically shift a driver’s potential for a large gain or loss in positions. Any last-minute driver changes or safety car scenarios could also reshape trader expectations before the checkered flag.
