The event determines the winner of the Durham vs Essex men's professional One-Day Cup cricket match scheduled for August 9, 2026. If Durham wins, the Durham market resolves to Yes, and the Essex market resolves to No. Conversely, if Essex wins, the Essex market resolves to Yes, and the Durham market resolves to No. Should the match end in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, cancellation, or insufficient play to determine a winner, both markets resolve to $0.50. In cases of forfeit, disqualification, or concession, if the governing body declares an official winner after play has begun, the market corresponding to the declared winner will resolve to Yes, and the opposite market to No. If the forfeit occurs before the match begins, both markets resolve to $0.50.
