While sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and public betting patterns, this market represents the collective wisdom of individuals incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply a broader range of factors considered by prediction market participants. It's common to see this market adjust rapidly to news or insights that haven't fully impacted sportsbook lines.
