Prediction market odds in this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect the aggregated beliefs of informed traders rather than set bookmaker margins. While sportsbooks may incorporate their own adjustments, prediction markets can price in nuanced factors faster, especially when new information emerges. Traders on Polymarket set prices based on their own analysis, which can lead to divergence from standard sportsbook odds.
