On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that represent each possible outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate of the trading community. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time to reflect new information, sentiment shifts, or breaking news about the fighters. This continuous price discovery mechanism means the odds you see are a live consensus forecast rather than a static line.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the boxing event concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome will be determined by the official fight result—whether Searle or Galarneau wins, or if the bout ends in a draw. Resolution typically occurs within hours or a day after the final bell, depending on how quickly official scorecards and announcements are published. Traders holding positions will see their payouts finalized once the outcome is confirmed.
Several factors could shift the odds before the Dublin event takes place. Fighter injury announcements, training camp reports, or changes in fight card details could trigger significant repricing. Media coverage, expert analysis, and fighter statements in the lead-up to the bout often influence trader positioning. Additionally, if either competitor's recent performance or health status becomes public knowledge, the market may react sharply. Close to the event date, late-breaking news or weigh-in results typically drive final adjustments in this market's price.
