Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both venues. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets and sportsbooks have different fee structures and liquidity levels, which can influence the observed odds. It's common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information.
