This market will resolve according to the player that finishes Round 3 of the main tournament at the 2026 Open de France with the lowest cumulative score to par. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the player with the lower score in Round 3. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with the lower score in Round 2. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with the lower score in Round 1. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player that records more eagles thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player who records more birdies thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player who records fewer bogeys thus far in the main tournament. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Open de France is cancelled, postponed after October 11, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, or if an official Round 3 leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the event organizer or governing body.
Each market resolves based on whether the specified golfer is the sole leader after Round 3 of the 2026 FedEx Open de France. If multiple players share the top position, "Yes" bets receive $1 divided by the number of tied leaders (rounded down), while "No" bets receive the complement to 1 of that payout. All markets operate independently, with no cross-market dependencies. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any official affiliation with the PGA or ownership of related trademarks.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi can diverge due to several factors. Each platform has a different user base with varying levels of expertise and access to information regarding the DP World Tour. Trading volume also plays a role; higher volume on one platform can lead to more efficient price discovery. Additionally, the specific rules and fee structures of each platform can influence trading behavior and, consequently, the prices observed in this market. These differences highlight the dynamic nature of prediction markets and the value of aggregating information across platforms.
