Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the ZEDI Esports vs GamerLegion match tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for three outcomes: a ZEDI victory, a GamerLegion victory, or a draw. The interface displays current market prices, 24-hour trading volume, and order-book depth, allowing traders to monitor how sentiment shifts as the match approaches. This market reflects collective trader expectations about which team will win the Dota 2 encounter, updated continuously as new information and wagers flow in.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they operate under different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader conviction and real-money stakes. Sportsbooks may adjust faster for sharp action, whereas prediction markets can reflect longer-term consensus. For esports matchups like this one, prediction market prices sometimes embed deeper analysis from specialist traders, though sportsbook lines remain a useful benchmark for comparing relative probability estimates.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) model where traders buy and sell outcome shares directly against a liquidity pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome—ZEDI win, GamerLegion win, or draw—adjusts dynamically based on order flow and the current pool balance. As traders accumulate shares in one outcome, its price rises and others fall, creating a self-correcting mechanism that encourages arbitrage and keeps prices aligned with underlying probabilities.

This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final match result: whether ZEDI Esports wins, GamerLegion wins, or the match ends in a draw. Resolution occurs after the official Dota 2 tournament organizer or broadcast confirms the outcome, ensuring accuracy and preventing disputes over the winning selection.

Key catalysts include roster announcements or player substitutions, recent tournament performance by either squad, patch updates that shift the Dota 2 meta, and injury or availability news. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and betting syndicates can also shift trader positioning. Odds typically tighten as match time approaches and more information becomes public. Live gameplay updates during the match itself—such as early game advantages or team fights—may trigger late-stage repricing if the market remains open during play.
