This market refers to the Dota 2 Upper bracket semifinal 1 match between Team Spirit and Nigma Galaxy in the The International Europe Closed Qualifier Playoffs, initially scheduled for June 25 at 7:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Spirit" if Team Spirit win the match against Nigma Galaxy. This market will resolve to "Nigma Galaxy" if Nigma Galaxy win the match against Team Spirit. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst consensus because they incorporate real-money incentives and continuous price discovery. While esports analysts may publish pre-match breakdowns based on team form, roster changes, and recent tournament results, this market aggregates the beliefs of traders who profit or lose based on accuracy. Comparing the two reveals whether professional analysts and betting markets align on team strength, or whether one side holds a more bullish or bearish view of the matchup outcome.
On Predict, traders buy and sell shares that represent each possible outcome, with prices reflecting the collective probability assigned by the market. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The cost of a share rises as more traders back that outcome, and falls as confidence shifts. This continuous auction mechanism ensures prices stay responsive to new information, team announcements, or player updates that might influence the playoff match result.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-three series in the International Europe Closed Qualifier Playoffs. Resolution occurs automatically after the final game result is confirmed, ensuring all traders receive payouts based on the actual match outcome.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent tournament performance, and pre-match commentary from esports analysts. Scrim results or team practice footage shared on social media can shift trader sentiment. Odds may also react to betting line movements on traditional sportsbooks, community sentiment on Reddit or Discord, or last-minute patch changes to the game that favor one team's playstyle. Any credible information about team preparation or form typically triggers repricing before the match begins.
