In the upcoming Dota 2 best-of-two series, scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, if the series ends in a draw (1-1), this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the series is postponed, this market will remain open until the series has been completed. If the series is canceled entirely, with no make-up, this market will resolve "Yes". This market refers only to the result of the best-of-two series (both games). The primary resolution source for this market is the official results of the event as recognized by the tournament organizer. However, if the tournament organizer has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the tournament organizer. Revisions to officially declared final results made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and arbitrage. On Polymarket, odds tend to converge toward consensus as more capital flows in, but they may lead or lag sportsbook prices depending on which venue attracts sharper analysis first. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether traders are pricing in information that bookmakers have not yet fully reflected, offering a window into where smart money is positioning itself.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders place buy and sell orders. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome—Team Spirit win, MOUZ win, or draw—moves inversely to demand; as more traders buy shares in one outcome, its price rises and the implied probability increases. Liquidity pools determine how sharply prices shift in response to large trades, so deeper pools allow bigger positions with less slippage. Real-time price discovery means the market reflects the latest information and sentiment from the trading community at any given moment.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final match result: whether Team Spirit secures victory, MOUZ wins, or the game ends in a draw. Resolution occurs after sufficient confirmation from reliable esports news sources and official tournament records, ensuring accuracy before traders receive their payouts. Until that point, this market remains open for trading and price discovery.
Several factors can shift odds before the match concludes. Recent roster changes, player injuries, or roster stand-ins announced by either team will typically trigger sharp repricing as traders reassess competitive balance. Pre-match interviews, scrim results, or public commentary from pro analysts may also influence sentiment. Tournament bracket position, map pool composition, and head-to-head historical records are catalysts traders monitor closely. Major patches or meta shifts in Dota 2 released shortly before the match can alter team preparation and perceived advantages. As the match date approaches, any official statements about delays or format changes will ripple through this market instantly.
