This market tracks whether both Team Spirit and MOUZ will each secure at least one Roshan kill during Game 1 of their best-of-two matchup at the Esports World Cup Group C. Across Polymarket and Predict, the consensus probability for both teams beating Roshan stands at 50.0%, while the total kills over/under 50.5 threshold shows 100% consensus. Resolution will be determined by Official DotaBuff; if unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting and video evidence will serve as the tiebreaker. Watch the match on July 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET to see how early game aggression and Roshan control shape the outcome.
This market refers to the Dota 2 match between Team Spirit and MOUZ in the Esports World Cup Group C, initially scheduled for July 7 at 10:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team Spirit" if Team Spirit win the match against MOUZ. This market will resolve to "MOUZ" if MOUZ win the match against Team Spirit. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, often incorporating a margin. Prediction markets, by contrast, rely on trader consensus—prices emerge from thousands of participants wagering real capital on outcomes they believe are mispriced. This market-driven mechanism can surface sharper odds on niche esports matchups where sportsbook liquidity is thin, though both venues converge toward true probability as event time approaches.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, all of which influence price discovery. Polymarket may see heavier volume from certain trading communities, while Predict draws its own user base with distinct risk appetites. Timing lags in information flow, platform-specific UI design, and varying levels of esports expertise among participants can also cause temporary price gaps. Arbitrage traders typically exploit these spreads, gradually aligning prices across venues.
Team roster changes, recent tournament performance, patch updates affecting hero balance, and player injury or roster announcements can all shift trader sentiment significantly. Public statements from team coaches or analysts regarding strategy may also influence odds. Closer to the event, live in-game developments—early game momentum, team fight outcomes, and objective control—will drive rapid repricing. Monitor esports news outlets and team social media for updates that could reshape expectations before the match begins.
