In the upcoming Dota 2 best-of-two series, scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, if the series ends in a draw (1-1), this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the series is postponed, this market will remain open until the series has been completed. If the series is canceled entirely, with no make-up, this market will resolve "Yes". This market refers only to the result of the best-of-two series (both games). The primary resolution source for this market is the official results of the event as recognized by the tournament organizer. However, if the tournament organizer has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the tournament organizer. Revisions to officially declared final results made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders wagering real capital on their beliefs. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders face direct financial consequences for inaccuracy. However, sportsbooks may incorporate live injury reports or late-breaking news faster. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds in real time as traders buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome—REKONIX victory, draw, or Vici Gaming victory—reflects the cumulative belief of all active traders at that moment. Larger trades move the price more sharply, while smaller orders have minimal impact. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to new information and trader conviction throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect the official final score and match status—whether REKONIX or Vici Gaming won, or if the match ended in a draw. Resolution occurs after sufficient confirmation from established esports news sources and tournament records, ensuring accuracy before payouts are distributed to winning traders.
Key catalysts for this market include roster announcements or last-minute player substitutions, recent team performance trends in competitive Dota 2, and head-to-head matchup history. Patch updates or balance changes to the game itself can shift perceived team strength. Public statements from coaches or analysts, injury or availability updates, and betting-market activity on external sportsbooks may also influence trader positioning. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and expert predictions often drive final price adjustments.
