In the upcoming Dota 2 best-of-two series, scheduled for July 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, if the series ends in a draw (1-1), this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the series is postponed, this market will remain open until the series has been completed. If the series is canceled entirely, with no make-up, this market will resolve "Yes". This market refers only to the result of the best-of-two series (both games). The primary resolution source for this market is the official results of the event as recognized by the tournament organizer. However, if the tournament organizer has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the tournament organizer. Revisions to officially declared final results made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margins, while prediction markets price outcomes through decentralized trader participation and real-money stakes. This market aggregates the collective judgment of traders who profit by accurately forecasting the result. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where consensus differs, though prediction markets typically converge toward sportsbook pricing as the event date approaches and information becomes more certain.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell outcome shares directly. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—REKONIX win, draw, or Team Spirit win—has a corresponding share price between 0 and 1, representing the implied probability. As traders buy shares of one outcome, its price rises and others adjust downward to maintain the market's internal balance. This continuous repricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and trader conviction in real time.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final match result: whether REKONIX secures victory, the teams draw, or Team Spirit wins. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout once the event is confirmed and the market settles. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on team news, roster changes, and other factors that influence perceived match likelihood.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the match concludes. Roster announcements, player injuries, or lineup changes for either team may alter perceived strength and win probability. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and team form leading up to the event typically drive significant repricing. Coaching decisions, strategic meta shifts in the current Dota 2 patch, and community sentiment from analysts and casters can also influence trader positioning. As the match date approaches, any official statements or pre-game information tends to accelerate price movement toward final consensus.
