This market refers to the Dota 2 match between RE.Arise and PuckChamp in the European Pro League Group A, initially scheduled for July 5 at 12:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "RE.Arise" if RE.Arise win the match against PuckChamp. This market will resolve to "PuckChamp" if PuckChamp win the match against RE.Arise. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than major sportsbooks, depending on whether informed traders or casual bettors dominate activity. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money sees value, though sportsbook lines typically incorporate professional sports analysis and real-time injury reports more quickly.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result as recorded by the European Pro League and recognized esports data sources. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as new information surfaces—team announcements, scrim results, or expert commentary. Resolution is final once the event is complete and the winning outcome is locked in.
Key catalysts include roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team, recent tournament results that shift perceived strength, and expert analysis or predictions from prominent Dota 2 commentators. Patch updates to the game itself can alter hero viability and team preparation strategies. Scrim results or practice footage leaks may signal team form. Pre-match interviews or team statements about bans and picks can also sway trader sentiment. Any injury or unavailability of star players would likely trigger sharp repricing across all outcomes.
