In the upcoming Dota 2 best-of-two series, scheduled for July 9, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, if the series ends in a draw (1-1), this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the series is postponed, this market will remain open until the series has been completed. If the series is canceled entirely, with no make-up, this market will resolve "Yes". This market refers only to the result of the best-of-two series (both games). The primary resolution source for this market is the official results of the event as recognized by the tournament organizer. However, if the tournament organizer has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the tournament organizer. Revisions to officially declared final results made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market may show different implied probabilities than major esports betting sites, especially as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd on Polymarket sees value relative to conventional bookmakers, though both sources inform overall market expectations.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome—OG victory, Inner Circle victory, or draw—reflects the collective belief of all participants at any given moment. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time, with higher prices indicating greater confidence in that outcome. This continuous price discovery mechanism means the odds you see are always the latest consensus from active traders on the platform.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the final score and match result as officially recorded by Dota 2 tournament organizers or broadcasters. Your position settles based on which team wins or whether the match ends in a draw, with payouts distributed according to the winning outcome. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the match ends and the result is publicly confirmed.
Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements can shift odds significantly before the match starts. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and patch updates to the game itself may influence trader sentiment. Pre-match commentary from analysts and community discussion on social media often catalyze price movements as new information surfaces. Closer to Jul 9, 2026, live in-game events—early kills, objective control, or momentum swings—will drive rapid repricing as traders update their expectations in real time.
