In the upcoming Dota 2 best-of-two series, scheduled for July 7, 2026 at 7:30 AM ET, if the series ends in a draw (1-1), this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the series is postponed, this market will remain open until the series has been completed. If the series is canceled entirely, with no make-up, this market will resolve "Yes". This market refers only to the result of the best-of-two series (both games). The primary resolution source for this market is the official results of the event as recognized by the tournament organizer. However, if the tournament organizer has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the tournament organizer. Revisions to officially declared final results made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds based on their internal models and risk management, then adjust them to balance action on both sides. Prediction markets like this one derive odds from continuous trading among participants, where each trader's conviction directly influences the price. This market-driven approach often reflects real-time information faster than sportsbooks update their lines. However, sportsbook odds typically benefit from professional oddsmakers' expertise, while prediction markets can be swayed by crowd sentiment. Comparing the two reveals whether traders here see value the traditional betting market has missed.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) that adjusts odds continuously as traders buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—L1ga Team win, Nigma Galaxy win, or draw—has a share price between 0 and 100 cents, representing the implied probability. When you buy shares in an outcome, you increase its price; when you sell, you decrease it. This mechanism ensures liquidity and prevents extreme price gaps. The market's price at any moment reflects the collective judgment of all active traders, updated in real time as new information or sentiment emerges.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed as either a win for L1ga Team, a win for Nigma Galaxy, or a draw, depending on the final score. Resolution typically follows within hours of the match ending, after official sources publish the result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing shares expire worthless. The exact timing may vary slightly depending on broadcast delays or official confirmation procedures.
Several factors could shift odds before the match concludes. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements often trigger sharp moves as traders reassess competitive balance. Recent form and head-to-head records influence sentiment, especially if one team enters on a winning streak. Pre-match interviews or coach statements may reveal strategic adjustments. During the match itself, early game momentum, kills, and map control swings can cause rapid repricing as traders update their win probability estimates. Major upsets or unexpected plays also drive volatility. Monitoring these signals helps you spot value shifts in real time.
