In the upcoming Dota 2 best-of-two series, scheduled for July 10, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, if the series ends in a draw (1-1), this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the series is postponed, this market will remain open until the series has been completed. If the series is canceled entirely, with no make-up, this market will resolve "Yes". This market refers only to the result of the best-of-two series (both games). The primary resolution source for this market is the official results of the event as recognized by the tournament organizer. However, if the tournament organizer has not published final results within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the tournament organizer. Revisions to officially declared final results made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders themselves through continuous buying and selling. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because they aggregate real-time information from many participants with direct financial stakes. However, sportsbooks may occasionally offer better value on specific outcomes due to their operational scale and access to professional oddsmakers, making it worthwhile to compare both sources before placing a wager.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 1 (or 0–100 cents), where higher prices reflect stronger trader conviction. As participants buy shares in a particular outcome, its price rises, and selling pressure lowers it. This continuous price discovery mechanism means odds shift dynamically based on new information, recent match analysis, or team roster changes, allowing traders to enter and exit positions at transparent, market-determined rates throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the final match result—whether one team wins outright or the match ends in a draw, depending on the specific outcome options available. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the event ending, after official confirmation from tournament organizers or reliable esports reporting. Traders should monitor the event closely as the resolution window approaches to ensure they understand which outcome has been confirmed.
Several factors can shift odds before the match concludes. Last-minute roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements may alter perceived team strength. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and patch updates affecting hero balance can all influence trader positioning. Media coverage highlighting team form or strategic preparation often triggers buying or selling waves. Additionally, early match momentum—kills, map control, and objective captures in the opening minutes—typically drives significant repricing as traders update their expectations based on live gameplay. Monitoring team social media and esports news sources can help identify catalysts before they fully price in.
