Description

This event group covers a Best-of-2 (BO2) Dota 2 match between BetBoom Team and REKONIX scheduled for March 22, 2026, at 8:00 AM ET as part of ESL One Birmingham Group A. Markets span match outcome, individual game winners, in-game statistics (kills, rampages, ultra kills, barracks, Roshan), and tactical events (first blood, day/night cycle timing).

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Kalshi and Polymarket apply identical resolution logic: official DotaBuff data as primary source, credible reporting as fallback, 50-50 for cancellations/delays beyond 7 days/forfeits/walkovers/incomplete games, and remade-game-only resolution for remakes.Primary resolution logic: DotaBuff (https://www.dotabuff.com); credible reporting and video evidence if DotaBuff unavailable within 2 hours post-event

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome (BO2 winner): Resolves to winning team if series completes; 50-50 if canceled, delayed >7 days, or ends in forfeit/disqualification/walkover
  • Individual game winners (Game 1/Game 2): Resolves to winning team if game completes; 50-50 if game not played, incomplete, or series already clinched
  • In-game statistics (kills, rampages, ultra kills, barracks, Roshan, day/night): Resolves based on completed game data; 50-50 if game not played or incomplete
  • First blood: Resolves to team securing first blood if it occurs before game completion; 50-50 if game not played, incomplete, or first blood never occurs
  • Remade games: All resolution uses remade game data only; prior data discarded
  • Cancellation/delay >7 days: All markets resolve 50-50
  • Forfeit/disqualification/walkover before play: All markets resolve 50-50; if match begins and one team wins via opponent forfeit, that team wins

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Series clinch before Game 2: If BetBoom or REKONIX wins Game 1 and the series format allows immediate series conclusion, Game 2 is not played. All Game 2-specific markets (Game 2 winner, Game 2 kills, Game 2 Roshan, etc.) resolve 50-50.
  • Game begins but incomplete (forfeit mid-game): For outcome markets (winner), the team winning via opponent forfeit resolves as winner. For in-game stat markets (kills, rampages, barracks), resolution is based on stats accumulated before stoppage; if condition not met, resolves No or Under. For first blood, if it occurred before stoppage, resolves to that team; if not, resolves 50-50.
  • Remake triggered: All resolution uses remade game data only. Prior game data is discarded entirely.
  • Day/night cycle timing: Resolution is based on in-game clock (0-5 min = day, 5-10 min = night, etc.), not real-world time. Temporary ability-based nighttime effects (e.g., Night Stalker) do not affect resolution.
  • DotaBuff data unavailable: If DotaBuff has not published final results within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence is used instead.
Timing: Resolution occurs within 2 hours after match conclusion (all games completed or series ended). If DotaBuff data unavailable, resolution may extend to consensus-based determination. Delayed matches beyond 7 days from scheduled date (March 22, 2026) trigger 50-50 resolution. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
