Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market aggregates trader conviction across the esports community, which may differ from sportsbook pricing due to varying information access or risk appetite. Neither is inherently more accurate; comparing both can reveal where consensus strongest or where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—1win victory, OG victory, or draw—has its own contract, and the price of each reflects the cumulative belief of all traders. As participants buy or sell shares, the price adjusts dynamically. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information about team form, roster changes, or other factors affecting the match.

This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final match result—whether 1win wins, OG wins, or the match ends in a draw. Resolution occurs after sufficient confirmation from reliable esports news sources and official tournament records. Traders should monitor the event schedule closely as the date approaches to ensure they understand the exact timing and any potential delays.

Several factors could shift trader sentiment before resolution. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes for either team would likely trigger sharp price movement. Recent tournament results, scrim outcomes, or public statements from coaches and players often influence confidence in each side. Patch updates to Dota 2 itself can alter the competitive landscape if they favor one team's preferred heroes or strategies. Media coverage highlighting underdog momentum or favorite struggles may also prompt traders to reassess odds as new information emerges.
