This market refers to the Dota 2 match between 1win and OG in the Esports World Cup Group D, initially scheduled for July 10 at 12:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "1win" if 1win win the match against OG. This market will resolve to "OG" if OG win the match against 1win. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://www.dotabuff.com. However, if https://www.dotabuff.com has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market's odds represent crowdsourced conviction from participants who profit only if their forecast proves correct, creating a direct financial incentive for accuracy. Comparing this market's implied probability to sportsbook spreads can reveal where the two communities disagree most sharply, sometimes highlighting overlooked value or consensus blind spots.
On Predict, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and offers that determine the current odds in real time. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the last executed trade and the standing orders closest to the spread, so liquidity and recent volume directly influence how quickly prices move. As new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, the bid-ask spread widens or tightens accordingly. This mechanism ensures that prices stay anchored to live market sentiment rather than static models, rewarding traders who spot shifts early.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the event has concluded and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result, ensuring that all traders are judged against the same authoritative record. Until that point, prices may fluctuate as new information, team updates, or betting patterns emerge. Resolution is final once announced, so positions held through the end will settle according to the verified outcome.
Several catalysts could shift prices before this market resolves. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements often trigger sharp repricing as traders reassess competitive balance. Recent tournament performance by either squad, scrim results, or public commentary from coaches and analysts can also sway sentiment. Betting patterns from sharp money or coordinated trading activity may signal new information entering the market. Additionally, meta shifts in the game itself or patch updates released before the match could alter strategic matchup dynamics, prompting traders to adjust their positions accordingly.
