This market will resolve to "YES" if Donald Trump lifts the 2026 FIFA World Cup trophy on the pitch at MetLife Stadium during the official trophy presentation ceremony immediately following the World Cup Final on July 19, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." "Lifting the trophy" means the trophy is clearly elevated above Trump's head while he is visibly holding or controlling it, whether alone or together with others. Simply touching, holding, or posing with the trophy without lifting it above his head will not qualify. The footage must be authentic. Digitally altered content, AI-generated media, or staged reproductions will not qualify. If the official trophy presentation ceremony is not held by July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO." The primary resolution source will be credible video or photographic evidence from the official ceremony; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate: a share trading at $0.30 implies a 30% implied probability. As new information or sentiment emerges, traders adjust their bids and offers, moving the price in real time. This mechanism ensures pricing remains responsive to any developments that might affect expectations around the 2026 World Cup or the event's framing.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, following the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament. The outcome will be confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting—specifically, whether Trump lifts the trophy as the winning team's representative. Resolution hinges on factual verification of the World Cup result and Trump's role in that outcome. Until that date, traders can adjust positions based on tournament developments, team performance, and any other factors they believe relevant to this speculative contract.
Several categories of signals could shift this market's price. Tournament performance by teams Trump might be associated with, major geopolitical developments, or shifts in public discourse around Trump's involvement in sports could all influence trader positioning. Regulatory or FIFA rule changes affecting eligibility or participation would be material. Media coverage, polling on public sentiment, and any official statements from Trump or tournament organizers could trigger repricing. Additionally, major political or legal developments affecting Trump's public profile might alter trader conviction on this highly speculative outcome. Each of these signals would likely produce measurable volume and price movement before Jul 20, 2026.
