Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, and recent form in qualifying or friendly matches. Tactical shifts, coaching changes, or public statements from managers can also influence trader sentiment. Head-to-head history and goal-scoring trends between the two teams matter significantly for a 2+ goal margin outcome. Weather conditions, venue factors, and late-breaking developments hours before kickoff often trigger sharp price movements as traders adjust their positions based on fresh information.
