The event determines the 9th inning winner between Detroit and Chicago in their scheduled professional baseball game. If Detroit scores more runs in the 9th inning, the 'Detroit wins 9th inning' market resolves to Yes. If Chicago scores more runs in the same inning, the 'Chicago WS wins 9th inning' market resolves to Yes. Should neither team score more runs than the other in the 9th inning—including scenarios where both score the same number of runs or no runs—the 'Tie 9th inning' market resolves to Yes. Only runs scored during the 9th inning count, regardless of whether the home team bats in the bottom half, provided the inning is completed. If the game is called early before the 9th inning is fully completed, all markets resolve to a Fair Price.
