Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from those set by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their view, leading to potentially more accurate probabilities. If sportsbooks heavily favor one competitor, this market might show a different distribution if traders believe the other competitor has a higher chance of winning. It's important to compare these odds to see where discrepancies lie and understand the market's collective assessment.

The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic process ensures the market price reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants, creating a real-time probability assessment.
