On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. The price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by all active traders; as more capital flows toward one outcome, its price rises and the opposing outcome's price falls. Traders profit by correctly predicting which team scores first, with payouts determined by the final price at which they exit or hold until resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the first goal is verified. The outcome is determined by which team scores the opening goal, confirmed against credible public sources such as official match records or major sports reporting outlets. Early resolution may occur if one team scores before the other, at which point the market settles immediately with payouts awarded to holders of the winning outcome.
Team news—injuries to key forwards, lineup announcements, or tactical shifts—can significantly shift odds in this market. Recent form, head-to-head history, and home-field advantage may also influence trader positioning. Weather conditions on match day, referee assignments, and late-breaking roster changes can trigger repricing. Additionally, large trader positions or sudden capital inflows can move prices sharply, especially in the final hours before kickoff when information asymmetry narrows and conviction trades become more visible.
