The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and analysis that might not be fully priced into traditional sportsbook odds. While sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, this market allows anyone to trade based on their own insights. It’s common to see differences emerge, especially as new information becomes available or public sentiment shifts. It’s important to compare the probabilities implied by both to assess potential value, but remember that prediction markets can sometimes be more accurate in forecasting outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different first-half exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the latest information and sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first-half score of the Deportivo Alavés versus Valencia CF match. The final score will be sourced from official sports data providers and will determine which shares pay out. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand the resolution of this market.
