Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Denver Summit FC vs. Houston Dash second half market displays real-time odds and historical price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to the second-half outcome. The interface shows the current probability estimate for each possible result, along with trading volume and order-book depth. This live pricing reflects the collective forecast of market participants and updates continuously as new trades execute. You can track how sentiment shifts throughout the day and review past price action to understand how this market has evolved since its inception.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets rely on trader consensus to price outcomes. This market aggregates the views of many independent forecasters rather than a single operator's risk model. Sportsbook odds may reflect sharp professional bettors and algorithms, whereas prediction markets can sometimes capture broader sentiment or niche expertise. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree on the second-half result.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one possible second-half result, and the price of each share fluctuates based on supply and demand. When more traders buy a particular outcome, its price rises and probability increases; conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. The platform displays these probabilities as percentages, allowing you to see at a glance which outcomes the market currently favors and to place limit or market orders accordingly.

This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will reflect the official final score or result recorded by the relevant sports authority. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information emerges during the match. Resolution is automatic once the event is confirmed, and all winning shares are paid out according to the outcome that occurred.

Several factors may shift prices before resolution. Team news—such as injuries, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—can alter expectations for the second half. Early first-half performance and scoreline will likely influence trader sentiment about how the match will unfold. Weather conditions, referee decisions, or momentum swings during play may also prompt repricing. Social media discussion, expert commentary, and live match statistics can all trigger buying or selling waves. Additionally, any official updates from the teams or league could reshape the probability landscape as traders reassess their forecasts.
