Key fight-related announcements — such as training updates, injury reports, or changes in coaching staff — may influence trader sentiment. Media coverage and pre-fight hype can also affect perceptions of each fighter’s readiness. Additionally, broader trends like betting patterns on Polymarket or shifts in public opinion following recent performances can cause rapid changes in the market’s implied probabilities as the event approaches.
