This market tracks the outcome of the first set in the professional tennis match between Daria Snigur and Ashlyn Krueger at the 2026 Wimbledon Women's Singles Round of 32 on July 4. The winner of set 1 will be determined by standard tennis scoring rules.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 1 of the Daria Snigur vs Ashlyn Krueger match at 2026 Wimbledon Women's Singles Round of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and trader bases. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who profit from accurate forecasting. This market aggregates the collective judgment of many participants betting real money on the outcome, which can sometimes reveal information or consensus that sportsbooks have not yet fully incorporated. Comparing the two can highlight where smart money sees value relative to traditional betting lines.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each player's chances of winning Set 1. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome fluctuates based on supply and demand, with the current market price reflecting the most recent trade. As new information emerges—such as player form, injury updates, or court conditions—traders adjust their positions, moving the odds in real time. This continuous repricing ensures the market stays responsive to changing circumstances.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the tennis match concludes and the Set 1 winner is verified. The outcome is determined by which player wins the first set, confirmed through credible public reporting of the match result. No further action is required from you; the platform will settle the market automatically once the event is finalized and the winner is officially recorded.
Several factors may shift odds before the match begins or during play. Pre-match developments include recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, court surface preference, and any injury or fitness announcements. Weather conditions, player form in warm-up matches, and betting volume spikes can also influence trader sentiment. Once the match starts, early set momentum—such as a player breaking serve or winning key points—often triggers sharp price moves as traders reassess win probabilities in real time. Monitoring these signals helps you anticipate market swings.
