Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. This can lead to discrepancies, as prediction markets may more accurately reflect the true probabilities, especially when information isn't widely available or is undervalued by the public. However, it’s important to note that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and significant differences can present potential arbitrage opportunities for informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of the traders participating in this market for the Danyliuk vs. Zeniuk match.
This market resolves around Sep 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Danyliuk vs. Zeniuk match as reported by the governing sports body. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in the market, and winning shares will be redeemable at the predetermined payout rate. It’s important to monitor news sources leading up to the resolution date to stay informed about any potential delays or changes to the event schedule.
