This market resolves based on which player wins set 3 of the professional tennis match between Damir Dzumhur and Arthur Fery in the 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled will resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different liquidity pools and trader bases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate the collective beliefs of independent traders with real money at stake. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper pricing on niche events like individual set winners, since specialized traders focus intensely on specific matchups. Comparing the two can reveal valuable discrepancies for informed bettors.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the marginal probability traders assign to that player winning Set 3, ranging from $0 to $1. As new information emerges—such as player form, court conditions, or injury updates—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. This mechanism ensures the market price continuously incorporates available evidence.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the third set of the Dzumhur vs Fery match concludes. The outcome is determined by verifying which player won Set 3 against credible public sources, including official match records and reputable sports reporting. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive the full payout, while losing shares expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the set's completion.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Player injury announcements or withdrawal news would trigger sharp repricing. Court surface conditions, weather, and scheduling delays can influence momentum and fatigue levels. Recent form—such as how each player performed in earlier sets or recent tournaments—often drives trader activity. Betting syndicates and professional traders may also move prices as they incorporate new match data or adjust their portfolios. Real-time commentary and set score updates typically generate the most volatile price swings.
