Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the K League second half result market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for the second-half outcome of the Daejeon Hana Citizen FC versus Bucheon FC 1995 match. The interface displays current contract prices, historical price movements, and trader participation metrics. This market reflects how traders are pricing the likelihood of each possible result—a win for Bucheon FC 1995, a draw, or a Daejeon Hana Citizen FC victory—based on live betting and information flow. The dashboard updates continuously as new trades execute, giving participants an up-to-the-minute view of market sentiment and implied probabilities.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and participant bases. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets like this one price outcomes through open trading among participants with real capital at stake. Sportsbook odds tend to be influenced by sharp bettors and market-making algorithms, whereas prediction market prices emerge from the collective judgment of traders. Both can offer valuable signals, but prediction markets sometimes capture longer-tail information or niche expertise that sportsbooks may underprice. Comparing the two can help bettors identify value and understand how different venues assess the same event.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) model where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome contract reflects the ratio of liquidity allocated to that outcome; as traders buy shares of one result, its price rises and others fall. Currently, Bucheon FC 1995 to win the second half is trading at a high implied probability, indicating strong trader confidence in that outcome. Prices adjust in real time as new trades flow in, and the market's depth determines how much price movement occurs with each trade. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to new information and trader sentiment.

This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the second half of the match between Daejeon Hana Citizen FC and Bucheon FC 1995 concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official final score recorded for the second half only, not the full match. Traders who correctly predicted the result will receive their payout based on the contract price at which they entered their position. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the match ends, pending confirmation from league officials and the platform's verification process.

Several factors could shift trader sentiment and move prices before resolution. Team news—such as injury announcements, lineup changes, or tactical adjustments—often triggers repricing as participants reassess win probabilities. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day can all influence how traders evaluate each outcome. Unexpected developments during the first half, such as an early goal or red card, typically cause significant price movement once traders update their expectations for the second half. Social media discussion, expert commentary, and betting activity on related markets may also influence participant behavior. Real-time match momentum and momentum shifts during play are the most direct drivers of price changes as the event unfolds.
