The event resolves based on the result of the Incheon Utd vs Gimcheon Sangmu professional Korea K League 1 soccer match scheduled for August 16, 2026, after 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Three possible outcomes are considered: a win for Incheon Utd, a win for Gimcheon Sangmu, or a tie. If either team secures a victory within regular time, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. If the match concludes with an equal score, the Tie market resolves to Yes. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform. The resolution specifically excludes extra time and penalty shootout results, focusing solely on the outcome after the standard match duration.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because of different user bases, liquidity levels, and trading activity. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one platform might have more traders focused on recent team performance, skewing its odds, while the other could reflect broader, longer-term sentiment. These differences mean Polymarket and Kalshi may show distinct probabilities for the same outcome, guided by their unique market dynamics.
