If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market relies on the collective predictions of informed traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market. It’s common to see this market incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially regarding late-breaking news or changes in team conditions. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights into perceived probabilities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived chance of that result. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand, with traders adjusting their positions based on new information and their own assessments of the game’s likely outcome. This creates a dynamic pricing system that aims to accurately reflect the collective wisdom of the crowd.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Cuba vs. Bonaire match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result published by the governing sports organization. Any disputes regarding the official score will be resolved using widely accepted sports data sources. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is officially confirmed and reported.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Cuba or Bonaire would likely cause price shifts. Unexpected changes in weather conditions at the match location could also influence the odds. Furthermore, any major tactical adjustments announced by either team’s coach could affect market sentiment. Even public opinion and betting trends reported in sports news outlets could contribute to price movements as traders react to the latest information and adjust their predictions accordingly.
