Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a broader range of information and participant perspectives than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market incorporates the wisdom of the crowd. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those seen on Polymarket, it could indicate disagreement about key factors influencing the match, such as player form, team news, or tactical approaches. It's important to remember that both represent probabilities, but they are derived through different mechanisms and may highlight different aspects of the event.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the Macara vs. Emelec match, as reported by a recognized sports data provider, will determine the winning outcome. Any changes or corrections to the official result after the initial reporting will be considered in the resolution process. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified score of the game.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Macara or Emelec would likely cause shifts in the odds. Major tactical announcements from either manager, changes in weather conditions that could affect the playing style, or even unexpected pre-match team lineups could all influence trader behavior. Additionally, any significant public statements from team officials or analysts offering strong opinions about the match’s likely outcome could also contribute to price movements in this market.
