On Polymarket and Kalshi, prices can vary because each platform attracts distinct user bases and liquidity patterns. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier volume from local fans, skewing its probability curve. Additionally, differing fee structures and market design choices influence how quickly prices adjust to new data, such as injury reports or tactical shifts announced ahead of kickoff.
