Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Croatia vs. Israel football match displays real-time odds and price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to the match outcome. You can monitor the current probability of each result, historical price charts showing how sentiment has shifted, and trading activity metrics. The interface lets you track how the market has repriced the event over time, giving you visibility into which outcomes traders favor as new information emerges. This live data helps you understand crowd expectations leading up to kickoff.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven purely by trader belief and financial incentive to forecast accurately. This market may show materially different probabilities than major sportsbooks, especially as new team news, injuries, or lineup changes break. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money disagrees with conventional betting lines, though both sources contain valuable signal about match likelihood.

On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price of each outcome reflects the cumulative belief of all active traders; as new information surfaces or sentiment shifts, the pool rebalances and prices move accordingly. Higher-priced outcomes represent events traders view as more likely, while lower prices signal skepticism. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices adjust to breaking news or analysis.

This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, once the match concludes and the final result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result—whether it ends in a Croatia win, Israel win, or draw—confirmed through established sports media and official league records. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, allowing traders to settle positions promptly.

Key catalysts include team news such as player injuries, suspensions, or lineup announcements that alter squad strength. Tactical shifts, coaching changes, or recent form streaks can also shift trader expectations significantly. Weather conditions at kickoff, venue factors, and head-to-head history may influence positioning as match day approaches. Major betting syndicates or professional traders entering the market can trigger sharp repricing. Social media sentiment, expert punditry, and pre-match press conferences often spark volatility in the final hours before kickoff.
