Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set fixed lines designed to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one derive prices from continuous trader activity and real-time information flow. This market resolves around Aug 1, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team scores more goals during the second-half period specifically. Resolution typically occurs within hours of final whistle as official match data becomes available and the platform confirms the result.

Key catalysts include team lineups and injury announcements before kickoff, early first-half momentum and scoreline, and tactical adjustments at halftime. In-game events such as goals, red cards, or substitutions will shift trader sentiment sharply. Weather conditions, crowd energy, and perceived fatigue levels also influence second-half performance expectations. Late-match developments—such as one team chasing a goal or playing defensively—typically create the most volatile price swings as traders reassess winning probabilities.
